Welcome to my weekly FIXX,
I am introducing it just like this because I enjoy information in lists, I love adaptable recipes, I always want to know what other interesting people are reading, but most of all I think I am pretty great at making playlists. They are an essential part of what I do on a daily basis, because music helps heal my soul. I hope that this is as enjoyed as much as I love putting it together.Another thing... I really, really want to try out for Master Chef one da, sober than later. I have started predicting, so each week there will be at least one recipe if not more... but one always for sure. I will pull from the greats, Uncle Tony, and Eric. Gordon, Joe and Aaron. Ms. Christina Toai, Julia Child and Barbara Lynch. I hope to learn tons.
I will also introduce meditation recommendations, most of them will be from Insight timer. I will share the link to an awesome tracker each week. There will also be wonderful dose of my baby girl, Nala Grace . Things coming from a pupperspective are always amazing, in her opinion. So I allow her a platform, she deserves it, I mean have you seen her?
I'll begin with the Music.

Now the Food:

Recipe: Herders' Pie (AKA Shepherds Pie)
adapted from G. Ramsay
Ingredients:
- 1lb ground beef( I use 90/10)
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- 1/2 red onion chopped
- 1 cup tomato purée
- 1 bag frozen veggies ( mixed, peas & carrots, or single veg) ; You can also use fresh of any of these too., however, it takes longer for the recipe.
- 5-6 Gold potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 1/2 cup leeks chopped ( bottoms not greens)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- About 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt & pepper to relate
- 1 tbsp Rosemary
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450°
1. Chop leeks , peel and chop potatoes. Put all in a big pot of boiling water. Bring to bill while starting meat.
2. Chop onion and garlic, toss into pan with a pad of butter ( or tsp of Extra Virgin Olive oil) in a pan.
3. Add ground beef, breaking into crumbles as you put in pan. Cook and simmer till onions are glassy .
4. Add tomato purée, salt, pepper and rosemary. Simmer while you start the rest.
5. If you have frozen veggies cook according to package. Set aside. (Note: if fresh chip and cook fresh veggies while cooking potatoes.)
6. Take potatoes and leeks off boil. Strain and then mash with milk and 3 tbsp of butter, more of you like, less of you don’t. Add salt and pepper to taste.
7. Take meat off simmer , scoop out put in button of pan or fish ( I use a Dutch oven) .
8. Layer veggies, I only use one bag of veggies, but you can use two or three if you’re trying to get your veggie on.
9. Layer on mashed potatoes. They will be a little chunky because of the leaks. Cross hatch top of potatoes to make textured.
10. Layer on cheddar cheese.
11. Put in oven uncovered for 25-30 min.
12. Take out, and maybe bake some rolls while pie rests for 10-15 minutes.
13. Serve with rolls and enjoy 😉
What I think is Worth Binging this week:

Yellow jackets :
This is the captivating story of a team of ridiculously talented high-school girls soccer players who survive a traumatic plane crash in the middle of nowhere, Ontario. The episodes account their fall from a complex yet flourishing team to opposing , cannibalistic groups , almost like concerns. The stories also tracks the women’s individual lives as they have tried to join forces again. Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher and Sammi Hanratty star as the teenagers, while Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis ( one of my all time favorite actors) paint a dynamic picture of all their adult equals as they divulge the honest happenings i that came off bring stranded in the wild gore 19 months.
A Cook’s Tour: Anthony Bourdain

Published by: Ecco; Reprint edition (November 5, 2002)
A Cook's Tour is the autobiographical collection of stories created byAnthony Bourdain's moves and shakes around the globe in a grand hunt for the most ideal and superb meal. I’m obsessed with his outlook on exactly what food really is, and how people share food. Did you really it’s definitely worth the read? I think I’ll read it in a few hours but I read all the time. You can get it on Amazon for like $11.
