Cut out to Indy

I am more relaxed today than I have been in months. I lived in Indianapolis for six years. Claimed my life back from a time that was not so good to me. The drive up was just as dreary as it always is, having Padawan in the car helped my driving anxiety a ton. Which I suppose is a testament to the health benefits of having an animal.

I pulled into Indianapolis late afternoon, and instantly felt at home. Some of the best times of my life were spent in this city, and the people that love me here treat it like it’s Christmas every time I come around regardless of the time of year.

My homie Dev had me set up at his amazing house in South Broadripple, we reminisced about old times and good friends. One friend especially, who we lost only three years ago. I think we talked about those times the most... it was therapeutic. Which is why I love it in Indianapolis so much, the time has not changed us and our feelings are just as real. That is because the people are true.

I killed Dev in Golden Tee at a bar we used to hit up in the Hayday. Ended up at our buddy Matt’s house trying on foot tall silver platform boots..tried and attempted Dancers pose in the boots... landed it. Laughed till we cried, the boys were impressed with my yoga skills. I told them it is just a practice like music..and that Life slows down when you learn to appreciate the good things. I miss it up here. Makes me wanna make a move...
